Story Progress Chart
If you're interested in reading the remastered version, or any of my future fan fictions, I have a progress chart below. I have more ideas for fan fiction stories, but these are the stories that are on the forefront of my mind. Before you read this chart, here are a few notes about it, to help you understand it a bit better. If you're familiar with WaveMaker Cards, you'll understand it even more, but for those unfamiliar with it should read Why You Should Try Outlining at Least Once to understand my process better:
The sequel portion of the chart may not necessarily indicate a whole separate story. For example, Puppet Skin has four total parts, but it's easier for me to process outlining the story as four parts rather than one whole story, which is what it will be intended. Sequestered Mind will also be one book; however, Season of Allegiances may be three or six books (still not sure about that one), but Bats and Snakepits, Operation: Eclipse, and What is Perfection? will absolutely be separate books. That said, plans often change, so it's easier to plan major plot arcs than planned books (if that makes sense).
Usually, if I finish the Plot Grid, then I'm pretty much finished with the Story Planner; however, I may go through the Planner and add more cards/notes that I think would be needed before proceeding to the first draft.
(TT): Temporary Title that I'll change when I think of a better one.
?: such as "1/?" indicates I'm not sure how many chapters my story will have total, but I did start writing the story.
* : such as "1/17*" indicates that while I have planned for seventeen chapters, the story may end up having more or less chapters until I'm more confident in how many chapters the story will have. Basically, as I started writing the story, I've been second-guessing the Planner that I outlined, and may rearrange my notes, or I've been thinking of more scenes to include, even if they don't necessarily fulfill any major plot needs.
Word Counts: The first set of numbers, "Est. Word Count", is what I've estimated it will be based on the current progress, averaging the word count per chapter, and multiplying that to the planned number of chapters. This number may change as I write further along in the story. The second set of numbers, "Word Count", is my current progress.
